Managing Director
Richard Curle is Managing Director at Landscape Associates. He specialises in horticulture and landscape construction, with a long-standing interest in how built and planted elements come together. With a career spanning three decades, he founded the company in 2001 and achieved the RHS Master of Horticulture in 2017. Remaining closely involved with every project, Richard’s ethos of quality and continuity remain central to the company’s approach. Outside of work, he teaches aspiring landscapers and enjoys paragliding.

Director
Richie is a Director at Landscape Associates. He specialises in landscape construction, contracts, and the delivery of design-led projects. He has over 35 years’ experience, working with leading construction companies and renowned designers across four continents. Outside of work, he enjoys walking his cockapoo Wilbur.
Artur Bartos
Commercial Director
Artur Bartos is Commercial Director at Landscape Associates. He specialises in the commercial and financial management of landscape projects. He studied Architecture at Kingston School of Art and began his career as an Architect before joining Landscape Associates in 2020 as an Estimator. Promoted in 2025, he plays a key role in shaping the company’s project delivery.
Cathryn Quail
Garden Development Manager
Cathryn is Garden Development Manager at Landscape Associates. She joined from the RHS, where she spent 6 years as Deputy Show Manager delivering horticultural content across the RHS Shows, including RHS Chelsea Flower Show. With a background in Fine Art, she holds a Master’s from Central Saint Martins and started her career in a silkscreen print studio producing work for renowned artists such as Damian Hirst. Outside of work, she tends to her allotment and takes long walks with her dog, Mabel.
Matteo Littarru
Garden Aftercare Manager
Matteo is the Garden Aftercare Manager at Landscape Associates. He specialises in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces to ensure long-term plant health and garden performance. He has over 10 years’ experience in horticulture, with a strong background in plant care and landscape maintenance. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors with friends and he loves cats.
Eleanor Hollingworth
Business Development and Communications Manager
Eleanor Hollingworth is Business Development and Communications Manager at Landscape Associates. She specialises in business strategy, strategic communications, branding and PR, building client relationships and strategic partnerships to help grow business. Previously at the RHS, she managed Garden Judging across all RHS shows, championing industry innovation and emerging talent. She holds first-class honours in International Development from the University of Leeds. Outside of work, she undertakes floristry and planting design projects, loves to travel and is a keen dinner party host.
Joe Sharp
Estimator
Joe is an Estimator at Landscape Associates. He enjoys working on innovative, challenging projects and design-led schemes. He has 8 years’ experience in construction, moving into landscaping two years ago. Outside of work, he spends his time outdoors, cycling, fishing, or kayaking.
Kerry Wainwright
Office Manager
Kerry is Office Manager at Landscape Associates. She oversees accounts, payroll, HR, training and fleet management, keeping the business running smoothly day to day. She brings broad experience across multiple industries, from airlines to hospitality and landscaping. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends and is actively involved in hockey as a club president.
Adam Gower
Yard Manager
Adam is Yard Manager at Landscape Associates. He oversees deliveries, vehicles, material management and on-site composting, supporting the smooth running of operations. He joined in 2014 as an apprentice, progressing to team leader before pursuing tree surgery, and returned to the business, becoming Yard Manager in 2024. Outside of work, he spends time riding and looking after his horses.
Michael Crisp
Landscape Foreman
Mike is a Landscape Foreman at Landscape Associates. He specialises in delivering high-quality gardens and has built numerous award-winning gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. He began his career at 16 and has worked with Landscape Associates for over 20 years. He has a particular drive for transforming neglected spaces into exceptional landscapes. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Construction Supervisor
Maciej is a Construction Supervisor at Landscape Associates. He specialises in delivering complex landscape projects, with experience spanning contemporary gardens to large country estates across the UK and Poland. He holds a Master’s in Horticulture and a degree in Environmental Protection from Poznań University of Life Sciences, and began his career in environmental roles before moving into landscaping in 2003, joining Landscape Associates in 2015.
James Burgess
Landscape Foreman
James is a Construction Foreman and Site Supervisor at Landscape Associates. He specialises in delivering design-led projects, with a particular interest in unique and unconventional garden features. He has worked with Landscape Associates for over 8 years and has a background in Animal Management, with over a decade’s experience working with livestock. Outside of work, he enjoys sport and travelling.
Ben Sanders
Assistant Foreman
Ben Sanders is an Assistant Foreman at Landscape Associates with 8 years’ experience in landscaping. He enjoys soft landscaping, particularly craning in mature trees and delivering planting schemes that bring a garden to life. Originally studying media production at university, Ben instead chose a more hands-on career outdoors, where he now focuses on creating high-quality, beautifully finished gardens.
Jett Benson
Apprentice
Jett is an Apprentice at Landscape Associates. He is currently studying at Merrist Wood and enjoys working across all aspects of hard landscaping. He has been with the company for a year, developing practical skills on site. Outside of work, he has a keen interest in sneakers and enjoys spending time with friends.

Adrian Gulei is an Aftercare Team Leader at Landscape Associates. He specialises in delivering bespoke aftercare and horticultural maintenance, with a particular eye for detail in areas such as topiary and plant care. With over 10 years’ experience, he is committed to maintaining high standards across every project. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and swimming.

Ahmed is an Aftercare Team Leader at Landscape Associates. He specialises in the ongoing care and maintenance of established gardens. He has worked with the company for over 20 years, starting in construction before moving into maintenance more than a decade ago. He enjoys working in beautiful gardens, particularly in spring. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, cycling and travelling.

Gastone Rizzardi is an Aftercare Team Leader at Landscape Associates. He specialises in garden aftercare, lawn care and hard landscaping. He has over 12 years’ experience in the horticultural industry and has been with Landscape Associates for 5 years, progressing into a team leader role. He trained in Horticulture at Merrist Wood College. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, fitness and making music.

Georgia is an Aftercare Team Leader at Landscape Associates. She specialises in rose training and espaliers. Georgia enjoys working on all elements of planting care and design. She has 8 years’ experience and previously worked as an architect before retraining with the RHS and running community gardening projects. Outside of work, she works on caring for her own garden.

Rob is a Site Supervisor at Landscape Associates. A long-standing subcontractor, he has led construction teams on a wide range of projects, including some of the company’s most complex. He has played a key role in delivering multiple gold medal-winning gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

A published author and bilingual, he brings international experience to his work, including supervising teams at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
